Winter Weather Leaving You Feeling a Little Blue? Warm Your Spirits by Rounding Up Some Friends and Heading to a Cocktail Bar

Whether you’re looking for some naughty and nice cocktails or the ugliest sweater party around, these Brooklyn hot spots boast holiday-themed activities, cocktails, and cuisine sure to warm even Scrooge’s heart.

Miracle

You might just find a Christmas miracle of your own at Brooklyn’s appropriately-named Miracle pop-up bar. Themed cocktails will include Christmas-themed cosmopolitans and shots sure to spread holiday cheer. Fittingly, the bar will be decked out with old-fashioned holiday decorations. You’ll also want to break out your ugliest sweater for the ugly sweater party, which takes place on December 2nd. With three locations throughout the city, Miracle is the place to go if you want a hip, fun place to hang out with friends while enjoying some holiday festivities. The pop-up bar, which opens on November 25th, will be located at 42 Hoyt Street in Brooklyn.

Snowday in Brooklyn

While the weather outside may be frightful, you’ll stay warm and delightful at Snowday in Brooklyn, the pop-up bar that takes over the dining room and bar at Williamsburg’s Sunday during the winter months. This space will be transformed into a winter wonderland (think a snowy ski chalet, plenty of holiday decor to go around, and Christmas-themed menus). When it comes to cocktails, you can choose between the Naughty list (which includes an Ugly Sweater Weather made with gin, Montenegro, and sherry) and the Nice list (which includes Champagne Problems, a fizzy drink made from cranberries, bitters, and bubbly) as well as mocktails.

Leyenda

Winner of a James Beard Outstanding Bar Program 2019 award, Leyenda will transform into Sleyenda, a sleigh-friendly environment that Santa himself would approve of. Though the official drink menu has not yet been announced, former favorites from years past included Mexican hot chocolate spiked with Mezcal and Puerto Rican eggnog. This winter wonderland will open right after Thanksgiving.
